We’ve updated the Terms and Conditions with clarification on how User Content can be used for marketing or promotional purposes.
For example, with the introduction of the weekly theme submissions, if you submit your design, it could be highlighted on the front page. But beyond that, any User Content can be used to promote the site, even on other sites or apps. (You still control your User Content. If you don’t want your User Content to be shared, you can always delete it. You can also choose not to save it and only download your designs.)

MTG.Design is a tool for creating custom cards and sets. It allows users to create, discuss and share content with one another. It is only as good as the community wants it to be, and ultimately, it takes the goodwill of individuals like you to keep this a great place.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the MTG.Design website and services (“MTG.Design”) provided to you by MTG.Design (also referred to in these Terms as “we”, “our”, and “us”).
We are always open to further discussion to continually make MTG.Design better. Thank you for your support.
By accessing or using our Service, you acknowledge you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy.
Without advance notice and at any time, we may, for violations of this agreement or for any other reason, choose to: (1) suspend your access to MTG.Design, (2) suspend or terminate Your Account, and/or (3) remove any of your User Content from MTG.Design.
MTG.Design is designed and supported for personal use only. You may not use MTG.Design to break the law, violate an individual’s privacy, or infringe any person or entity’s intellectual property or any other proprietary rights.
You may not use MTG.Design to conduct transactions for any illegal goods or services.
To participate on MTG.Design, you must create an account that includes a username, password and email address (“Your Account”). The account name must not contain objectionable words or phrases. You are solely responsible for the information associated with Your Account and anything that happens related to Your Account.
To create and use an account, you must be 13 years of age or older. MTG.Design is not designed for children under the age of 13 and does not collect information from them.
MTG.Design allows you to post content, including text, images, graphics or other materials. Anything that you post or make available on MTG.Design is referred to as “User Content”.
You agree that your User Content does not violate the Terms, and that your User Content does not violate the copyright, trademark, trade secret or any other personal or proprietary right of any other party.
You agree that your User Content can be used and modified by MTG.Design for marketing and promotional purposes on the MTG.Design website and other mediums.
You agree not to use MTG.Design to post abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening or other User Content that may violate applicable laws.
You agree not to use MTG.Design to harm minors in any way, including, but not limited to, uploading, posting, or otherwise transmitting content that violates child pornography laws, child sexual exploitation laws or laws prohibiting the depiction of minors engaged in sexual conduct, or submitting any personally identifiable information about any child under the age of 13.
You agree not to post any graphics, text, photographs, images, video, audio or other material that we deem to be junk or spam. This reduces the quality of the MTG.Design experience for others. Be a good netizen, not a bad one.
If you notice User Content from other accounts that may violate these Terms, please report it to support@mtg.design.
You agree not to interrupt the serving of MTG.Design, introduce malicious code onto MTG.Design, make it difficult for anyone else to use MTG.Design due to your actions, or assist anyone in misusing MTG.Design in any way. When you hurt the site, you hurt others like yourself who use it.

MTG.Design is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis and we reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue MTG.Design, in its sole discretion, at any time and without notice.
You agree to hold MTG.Design, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and third party service providers harmless from and defend them against any claims, costs, damages, losses, expenses, and any other liabilities, including attorneys’ fees and costs, arising out of or related to your access to or use of MTG.Design, your violation of this user agreement, and/or your violation of the rights of any third party or person.
MTG.Design is provided “AS IS” and without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates and third party service providers disclaim any and all warranties, express or implied, including (but not limited to) implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement of proprietary rights, or any other warranty, condition, guarantee or representation, whether oral or electronic. You are solely responsible for any damage to your computer or mobile device, loss of use, or loss of your user content. We do not guarantee that MTG.Design will always work properly.
We may modify the Terms at any time. If we make changes to the Terms that materially affect your rights, we will provide advance notice on the website and when you log in. By continuing to use MTG.Design after a change to this agreement, you agree to those changes.
